Focus and Scope

Indonesian Journal of Contemporary Education  (IJoCE) is a peer-reviewed open-access international scientific journal who aims to the sharing, dissemination and discussion of the education for the global research community across the country through the dissemination of high quality research findings on professional issues that reflect diversity this field. Encourage and publish research and studies in the fields of primary, secondary school, critical pedagogy, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, educational philosophy, educational psychology, educational technology, distance education, science education, parental education, non-formal education, early childhood education, curriculum development, design, education assessment, education supervision, education management, education policy, vocational education, social education and other relevant issues.

Indonesian Journal of Contemporary Education  (IJoCE) welcomes research articles, literature reviews, book reviews from various countries in the world that have high-quality on all topics related to education research to publish in this journal. Submitted papers must be written in English for initial review stage by editors and further review process by international reviewers.

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated in the office whether it is suitable with our focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw. These manuscript will be sent to two international reviewers anonymously (Double Blind Review). Reviewers' comment are then sent to corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses. The decision of the revised manuscript will be then evaluated in editorial board meeting, the final decision of whom are sent to the corresponding author.

 

Publication Frequency

This journal is published three times a year (February, June, October)

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
